We're putting women right up front

Globally, women remain underrepresented in key decision-making roles across almost all industries. The gap between male and female participation is even greater in the transport industry.

We are determined to shift gender inequality and increase female participation in our workforce and industry. We have set a target for gender equality, and we do not underestimate how incredibly ambitious and challenging it will be to meet this.

We want to look back on this period and know that we did something tangible to make a sustained change to the gender inequality which exists everywhere. We aspire to be better and frankly this is our greatest opportunity and focus.

Women Up Front - Trainee Bus Driver program

We’re encouraging more women to join our friendly fleet of drivers living life in the bus lane through our unique Women up Front - Trainee Bus Driver program.

The program targets ‘people people’ who don’t have a bus driver's license but do have excellent customer service skills, offering the support and training required to be fully qualified and confident behind the wheel.
