Hobart's road to Net Zero 

Kinetic is proud to have launched Tasmania’s first two fully electric buses in May 2022 on the SkyBus Hobart City Express service, which transports visitors from Hobart Airport to six stops located at hotels around Hobart City. 

The zero-emission battery electric buses (BEB) had saved over 79 tonnes of CO2 emissions from entering the atmosphere and clocked up 75,000 kilometres in just their first six months of operation. 

Demonstrating their immediate role in reducing pollution, this has displaced vehicles which would have used almost 30,000 litres of diesel for the same distance.
