Modernising Melbourne's buses
As part of our Metropolitan Bus Franchise and Metropolitan Zero-Emissions Bus Franchise contracts, we're helping the Victorian Government modernise Melbourne's bus experience and deliver benefits to the whole community.
We proudly operate over one third of the city's bus network, which includes 65 bus routes and a team of over 1,200 passionate bus drivers.
We're supporting Victoria's transition to zero-emission vehicles, with over 200 zero-emissions Kinetic buses to form part of Melbourne's bus network by 2035. In addition, Kinetic's new bus depot in Preston will feature Victoria's-first overhead charging gantry to support Melbourne's growing electric bus fleet.
