Kinetic was born and bred in Melbourne, Australia operating the world-class SkyBus airport express service.
By caring for our people, our customers and the community, and placing customers at the heart of everything we do, we grew our operations across Australia and New Zealand winning competitive bus contracts and acquiring businesses which aligned with our core values and growth strategy.
Today Kinetic is a globally recognised transport network across Australasia, the UK, Europe & Asia with bus and rail operations keeping people moving and cities and communities connected.
Kinetic moves 100 million people every year throughout Australasia. Our team of more than 9,100 passionate people operate a fleet of 5,000 buses across our extensive urban and school bus networks in metropolitan and regional cities including Melbourne, Perth, Auckland, Wellington, Christchurch, Hamilton and Tauranga.
Our business transformed in 2021 when we acquired UK-based international transport group Go-Ahead as a joint venture with Spanish company Globalvia.
Go-Ahead operates rail and bus services across the UK, Europe & in Singapore. Through Go-Ahead, we operate 477 trains across 193 stations and a further 7,900 buses across 90 depots, and over 1500 zero emission buses.
As we look to the future, we're focused on accelerating our sustainability efforts. Our sustainability strategy prioritises moving people, moving lightly and moving forward.
