Hamilton

Kinetic is the largest provider of bus services in Hamilton and the wider Waikato region, operating 100 city buses across Hamilton, Te Awamutu, Cambridge, Huntly, Morrinsville and Matamata from our depot in Frankton. These buses carry approximately 4 million passengers annually.

We are a proud partner of Waikato Regional Council providing scheduled urban bus services via a number of long-term contracts. Our fleet comprises single deck and double deck buses.

In Hamilton we employ 200 drivers and approximately 10 support staff. In Hamilton our buses are branded in the Council’s transport livery, Busit.

Kirikiriroa means "long stretch of gravel" in Māori. It's in reference to an area on the west bank of the Waikato River.
