In Central Queensland junior sport is at the heart of the community, bringing people together from across the region.

With Mackay’s Norths Junior Devils attracting stronger participation every year including an increasing number of females , Kinetic is proudly continuing its support as club naming sponsor for 2024.

A new club record of more than 200 players will take the field when the season commences in April – up from approximately 140 registrations.

Club President Kellie Tait says the partnership with Kinetic has provided the platform for this growth.

“Having Kinetic come on board as the naming sponsor for Norths Junior Devils in 2023 has made an enormous positive impact on our club,” she said.

“They provide financial support and help our players get to games with buses to Moranbah and other areas helping families overcome the challenges of long-distance travel to games.”

Norths Junior Devils is a community club with 225 participants from Under-5s to U16s.

Ms Tait said we are proud to be one of the most diverse clubs in the area with many female teams and about 80 per cent of our players coming from the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community.”

Executive General Manager for Central Queensland Marcia Shield said the entire team was thrilled to be backing the Devils again in 2024.

Recently, Kinetic attended the club’s season launch and assisted the Under-16s female team with transport to a pre-season carnival in Sarina.

“We have all enjoyed seeing the success of the Devils in 2023 with a number of their junior girls’ teams playing finals and we can’t wait to see how they go in 2024,” Ms Shield said.

“As a transportation company, we understand that offering charter services for teams significantly helps the club overcome one of the primary barriers to participation.

“We have many drivers putting their hand up to help out with footy charters and the team loves seeing the positive impact the partnership is having.”

Kinetic operates public transport and charter services across Central Queensland from Mackay, Rockhampton and Bundaberg as well as specialised mining and resources services.

All across Australia Kinetic is proud to support community programs that support the communities in which we operate. Other partnerships include the NQ Sistas and Garbutt Magpies in North Queensland, Titans Together program in South East Queensland and Frankston Football Club in Melbourne.
