The Moving Communities Fund is Kinetic’s community grant program helping us to deliver our mission – to improve the livelihoods of the communities in which we live and operate.

Kinetic and its subsidiaries Go Bus, SkyBus and Johnston's proudly deliver bus services in major cities and regional communities across Australia and New Zealand.

From sponsoring sporting clubs that bring communities together to funding charities that matter to our people and their families, this initiative aims to find ways to support and connect communities.

Is active in a location Kinetic and its subsidiaries operate in

Is driving positive outcomes in one or more of Kinetic's priority community areas

What do you need to do?

How to apply

To apply you simply need to complete an online application, during the submission period.

Applications are open to organisations who

have an impact in the communities in which we operate in.
are a registered not-for profit, community and sporting group, or an educational organisation or institution.

When you complete your application you will be asked to;

Tell us about your organisation
Let us know what type of support you are looking for
Explain how you plan to use the support and measure your outcomes

Circability Trust

Circability Trust, an organisation that uses circus arts to strengthen wellbeing, build confidence and create a sense of belonging for people of all abilities.

The cash grant from Kinetic’s Moving Communities Fund will help Circability cover essential operating costs as the organisation works to deliver more social circus programmes from its regional hubs. This includes expanding outreach so more individuals, schools and community groups can take part.

Safe Steps

Safe Steps is Victoria’s only 24/7 crisis response service for anyone experiencing family or domestic violence (FDV) and handles around 130,000 contacts each year through its phone, live chat and email channels, providing immediate and confidential assistance to individuals at serious risk.

Moving Communities Fund provided the team at Safe Steps with in-kind bus advertising to take their messages to the streets across Melbourne, raising awareness of vital domestic and family violence support services.
