Kinetic's airport transportation brand SkyBus is proud to announce a partnership with Breast Cancer Network Australia (BCNA) as part of the organisation’s national Know Yourself. Feel Yourself. campaign, launching a specially wrapped SkyBus to raise awareness about breast health throughout October and beyond.

The bus wrap features nurse and mum Jess Pearce who was diagnosed with breast cancer at 33.

The powerful campaign, which features a step-by-step breast awareness video, encourages all Australian women to become familiar with their breasts and take action if they notice any changes.

The campaign emphasises that early detection can save lives, leading to less invasive treatment and better outcomes.

SkyBus General Manager (Melbourne) Audrey Speziale said SkyBus was proud to use its platform to support BCNA's mission and help start important conversations about breast health and early detection across Melbourne.

"Our buses travel throughout Melbourne every day, connecting with thousands of passengers and community members,” said Speziale.

“Breast cancer is a cause that touches many within the SkyBus community, and through our part in BCNA’s Know Yourself. Feel Yourself. campaign, we hope to inspire awareness and education.”

BCNA CEO Kirsten Pilatti says BCNA is broadening its scope of support beyond a breast cancer diagnosis to include behavioural changes and early detection.

"Our campaign creates awareness, and the breast check video provides a practical tool that empowers women to take action. It has been created with the valuable insights of women who have had a breast cancer diagnosis, who want to support the next generation.

“They want to help women build confidence in knowing their bodies, recognising when something changes, and advocating for themselves. We want younger women to give themselves regular breast checks because the earlier breast cancer is detected, the better the outcome, and that knowledge is power."

The partnership supports BCNA's expanded focus on breast health education, addressing a growing gap in public awareness.

Every day, 58 Australians are diagnosed with breast cancer, with around 1,000 women under 40 diagnosed each year.

The campaign empowers people to understand what's normal for their body and seek medical attention if something changes.
